Drugs and Chickens Raid in Kampong Speu

Kampong Speu: At 2:30 pm on June 5, 2019, anti-narcotics police arrested six suspects in Chambuk Commune, Vor Sor Commune, Samrong Tong District, Kampong Speu Province.

Officers seized:
– A large bag of drugs (meth)
– Scales
2 swords
– 8 motorbikes 
– 1 car 
– 71 live chickens.

Following the arrest the seized items, including the 71 chickens, were taken for temporary storage at the Samrong Tong Police Inspectorate.

Five suspects were questioned at the Anti-Narcotics Bureau of the Provincial Police Commissariat and the man believed to be the mastermind behind the drugs/chicken operation, Som Sivorn, 33, was taken for more interrogation.
