Kampot Man Killed by Storm
Kampot: On the afternoon of June 4, 2019, a man died and four houses were damaged by thunderstorms and winds in Banteay Meas district.
The victim was named as Men Moeun, 69, a resident of Phambong village, Samrong Kraomcommune, Banteay Meas district, Kampot province. It appears he was struck by lightning, which is currently causing several deaths a week across the country.
On the afternoon of June 3, 2019, thunderstorms and winds killed five cows and one buffalo, 119 houses were damaged and seven others were destroyed.
