Traffic Stats For May

Phnom Penh:  According to a report from the Department of Public Transportation, Traffic and Public Order of the National Police,  in May 348 road accidents killed 155 people and left 504 seriously injured.

The main causes of traffic accidents included: high speed, disrespect, alcohol and poorly maintained vehicles.

The most dangerous provinces were Phnom Penh, Banteay Meanchey, Kampong Speu, Prey Veng, Kandal, and Sihanoukville.
