Facebook Scam Hacker Arrested

PHNOM PENH: A coordinated investigation between police force department led to the arrest of a suspect on 182, Sangkat Teuk Laek 2, Khan Toul Kork, Phnom Penh.

The arrest came after victims complaints of the suspect hacking into a Facebook account without permission, and then asking to borrow money from friends on Facebook through money transfers.

The Department of Cyber Crime has received many complaints, and the suspect confessed to making a lot of money using the scam. He admitted to hacking into over 200 Facebook accounts and making money from around 50.

The suspect, named Chai, born on 17 May 1997, lives in Phnom Penh Thmey , Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Phnom Penh.

Police warn people to be careful on gFacebook and always check before sending money, even to friends in need.
