This Sunday, 2 June, Kun Khmer legend Keo Rumchong will once again compete in front of his home crowd of Battambang as he will battle with Brazilian Champion Diego Beneduzzi at Ek Phnom Kun Khmer Arena.
The legendary Keo Rumchong has seen found success in 2019, finishing opponents in both Battambang and Phnom Penh. As one of Cambodia’s most popular fighters, Rumchong has taken pride in representing Cambodia against international fighters, showcasing his vicious low kicks and powerful right hand. Now, he will have a steep test ahead as he will take on Brazilian Champion and Thai Fight veteran Diego Beneduzzi in the main event of the evening.
A veteran of the fight game, Beneduzzi has made a name for himself as an exciting fighter that always looks for the finish. Rumchong vs. Beneduzzi will certainly be one for the books!
The six fight-event will also feature a “Cambodia vs. Italy” clash as the young hometown talent Sorn Rakim is scheduled to fight Carmelo Marchese Ragona in the co main-event.
The bout card will also feature some of Cambodia’s most promising fighters, and part of the ticket revenue will go to help the local gyms around Battambang.
