Tourists Lucky in Koh Rong Lightning Strike

Preah Sihanouk province: Three tourists were lucky to escape reasonably unharmed from a lightning strike.
The incident occurred on the morning of May 27, 2019, on Koh Rong, in Thma Thkau village.

The lightning also hit a large wooden pole, which may have protected the 3 white men from the full impact (*details are a bit sketchy). After the incident one man briefly lost consciousness, but came round.

The three were sent to the mainland and were found to be in good health, if a little shocked.

One of the men seems to be suffering from some amnesia.
