Chinese Woman Swallows Pills Outside U-Care
Phnom Penh: A Chinese woman made a very public attempt at suicide on May 21, 2019 at the front of U-Care Pharmacy at No. 17, Sothearos St. in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon.
Before the incident, a young Chinese woman, aged around 20, was sitting in a chair in front of the drug store. She was talking with other Chinese men and seems to have got into an argument, then she took medicine from her handbag and swallowed a large quantity of pills.
People reported to the police who were patrolling, who ordered her to hospital in an Alphard with 3 or 4 Chinese men.
