Unlucky Japanese Man Helped in Poipet

 

Banteay Meanchey: After receiving information on Facebook that a Japanese man was on the street in the border area of Poipet international border, in a poor conditions and without accommodation, a search found him on the afternoon of May 20, 2019 and he was given food and new clothes.

Norihiro YAMAGUCHI, a 47-year-old Japanese, who has traveled and stayed in Cambodia for 11 years, lost his wallet with his bank cards 10 days ago and was unable to buy food or find a place to stay.

Border officials are now helping to arrange for him to visit the Japanese Embassy.
