Khmer Rally Raid 2019

Phnom Penh: A rally race through Prey Lang is underway, with the theme “Conservation of the environment and natural resources”

The race began on May 18 after the teams spent one day on May 17 to register

The event was organized by Kara Cambodia in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment with the Cambodian Motor Sport Federation and other partners.

Soma Kosal, manager of Khmer Rally Raid, said the organizing committee had registered and supervised the safety of motorbikes and vehicles to prepare for departure on May 18 across three provinces including : Kampong Thom Province, Preah Vihear and Siem Reap Province, with a total distance of 624 km.

The race will pass through the sanctuary of Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary and the “Beung Prek” Wildlife Sanctuary of Preah Vihear Wildlife Sanctuary in Preah Vihear province, and continue to Siem Reap, the team will pass through the National Park Mount Kulen and many other nature reserves.

The event “Together with Environmental and Natural Resources Conservation” will take place in 2019 with 20 motorbikes and 21 vehicles, including 15 national racing cars, 4 units and two spare aid vehicles.
