One Dead, Four Injured After Prius Hits Tuk-Tuks

Phnom Penh:  A serious accident happened at 1:00 am on May 17, 2019, along National Road 1 in Veal Sbov Sangkat, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.

A tuk-tuk was hit by a Prius, causing a woman to die instantly, while four others were injured, including a young girl.

The victim was named as Phok, 38, a factory worker from Svay Rieng province. After the accident, the four victims were taken by emergency ambulances to the hospital.

The TOYOTA PRIUS car, labeled Phnom Penh 2AL04-27, was traveling along National Road 1 at high speed and hit two tuk-tuks *(one Indian style, one traditional).

After the incident, the driver fled the scene.
