Danish Tourist, 33, Dies in Siem Reap

Siem Reap: At about 11:50 am on May 16, 2019, in a hotel in Sangkat Phsar Thmey, Siem Reap City, a foreign male was found dead in a room.

The victim’s names NIELS FREDERIK CHRISTOPHER THIESEN, a Danish national aged 33 who arrived as a tourist on May 12, 2019 at the Siem Reap International Airport.

According to the police chief and paramedic, it was concluded that the victim died of high blood pressure causing a heart attack.

The body was moved the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh waiting for the decision of the family and embassy.

Medication, along with valium and generic viagra were found alongside his body.
