Chinese Worker Dies in Kampong Speu Fall
Kampong Speu: A foreigner died at Phsar Dek Knitting Factory located in Stoek Lom Village, Ksem Ksan Commune, Oudong District, Kampong Speu Province at 7:30 AM on May 17, 2019.
According to police, WANG TIEJUN, a 51-year-old Chinese national, was working as a welder in the factory when he fell 18 m without a safety harness and died instantly.

Condolences to the victim but why does a Chinese person need to be hired for welding work? Ridiculous that a work permit would be issued to a foreigner for that kind of work that could have been done by a local. I’d be pissed if I were Cambodian knowing that Chinese are stealing jobs that Cambodians can do.
