Chinese VIP Racers End Up in Koh Pich Ditch

Phnom Penh: At 4:17 am on May 17, 2019, at Koh Pich Bridge in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, four Chinese people in a Mazda ended up in the river.

The car was severely damaged but teh crash did not cause injuries.

Before the incident, a white car MAZDA BT50, labeled “Phnom Penh 2AY-3139”, was racing very fast with a CAMRY. The Mazda crashed through a fence, went down an embankment and crashed into the mud. Meanwhile, the CAMRY side did not stop and drove off.

After the incident, the car driver promised to pay for damages with the location owner to end the case.
