Homeless Korean Picked Up in Siem Reap

 

Siem Reap: The Office of Investigation and Procedure at about 18:00 on May 9, 2019 visited LOTUS WORLD in Chey Village, Teuk Thlal Commune, Siem Reap City, Siem Reap Province, inviting a foreigner in for questioning.

The foreigner, KIM SUNG KYUN, a 49-year-old male* from South Korea, arrived in the Kingdom of Cambodia on 30 January 2019, at the Poipet international border and has no accommodation or money for food.

He has been surviving by asking for money from other Koreans staying in Siem Reap.

The Korean was previously deported from Cambodia in 2017, but managed to sneak back in.

He was sent to the eviction center in Siem Reap to proceed with the legalities.
