Kampot Car Crooks Caught in Kirivong

Kampot Province: The police force of Kampot province, in cooperation with the Provincial Police Department and Traffic Police Office of Takeo province, arrested two car thieves on May 8, 2019 in Kirivong district, Takeo province.

The suspects; Sombim, 45, a native of Bakan district, Pursat province and Sok Visal, or Mam, a 40-year-old male from Bati district, Takeo province were caught with the stolen 2003 Camry belonging to Uy Sarith.

They confessed to committing car thefts in Kampot province:
– 1st: On January 3, 2019, two cars were stolen at Satpong Village, Sat Pong Commune, Chhouk District. . 
– 2nd: On February 13th, 2019, a car was stolen from 1 May Village, Sangkat Kampong Kandal, Kampot.
– 3rd: On March 14, 2019, the car was stolen at Trapeang Romang Village, Ta Yi Commune, Angkor Chey District. 
– And 4th: On April 30, 2019, the car was stolen in Prek Kris Village, Prek Kiri Commune, Kampong Trach District.
