Storm Causes damage and Injuries in Capital

Phnom Penh: Heavy rains and strong winds swept across the city on the afternoon of May 6, causing damage to property and injuring at least two people.

A falling tree on Sihanouk Blvd caused a woman to fall from her motorcycle and suffer minor injuries.

A man was taken to hospital after a large advertising billboard collapsed on him on National Road 5.

There was also severe traffic congestion as authorities worked to clear the street of fallen trees and structures.
