Chinese Bomb Hoaxer Sent to PJ Prison

Phnom Penh: A Chinese man who made an imitation bomb from sand to threaten his fellow Chinese compatriots was detained by authorities and formally charged on May 5, 2019.

The investigating judge then made a decision for him to be temporarily detained and on the evening of May 6, 2019, he was sent into provisional detention in PJ Prison.

Liu JUN, a 38-year-old man, came to Cambodia as a tourist and was staying in Stung Meanchey.

He was charged with “intimidation” after the incident which took place on May 1, 2019, in Chom Chao Commune Khan Por Senchey. Rasmei News
