Unlucky Groom-To-Be Struck By Lightning After Engagement
Kompong Speu: A man who was soon to become a groom soon died after leaving his engagement party to go home.
The incident occurred on May 5, 2019, in Koh Chheu Teal Village, Toul Sang Commune, Kompong Speu District, Kompong Speu Province.
A provincial police source said that the victim was Sin Hieng, 27, from Horng village, Veal commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. The 20-year-old bride is a factory worker.
According to the Inspector, before the incident, the victim held an engagement party at the house of his fiancee, a left on his motorbike to go home.
On the way there was a sudden thunderstorm and the man was struck by lightning and died instantly. Two other young people travelling with him suffered no injuries.
