Container Truck Hits Pass Ap in Toul Kork

Phnom Penh: An Indian style tuk-tuk India pulled out too quickly and hit a container truck leaving a man seriously injured at about 1 am on May 01, 2019 along 182 Street in Teuk Laak II, Khan Toul Kork.

According to the source, before the incident, the container truck, a white VOLVO with the license plate, 3D-2371, traveled from east to west on Street 182. The truck was turning when the tuk tuk drive came from the opposite direction and collided. The tuk tuk driver suffered injuries to his head and right and was left unconscious.

The truck was damaged on the bumper, while the driver jumped out and escaped from the scene.

After the incident, the injured man was taken away by ambulance, while the trucks and tuk-tuk were detained by the authorities and sent to the Phnom Penh Police Office’s Traffic Police Station to wait for the container truck owners come forward to handle the legal action.
