Tonnes of Fish Die in Tonle Sap

Kampong Thom Province: Over 20 tons of different species of fish have died all over the Tonle Sap Lake.

Fishery officials in Kampong Thom have blamed the ongoing drought and high temperatures for the deaths.

Officers are collecting the fish to prevent further poisoning the water and are warning the public not to eat any, as they could be toxic.
