Cut n’ Shut Lexii Shop Busted
On April 26, 2019, the Phnom Penh Customs and Excise branch visited a garage in Russey Keo district and found a cut n’ shut operation. Three vehicles were being given a makeover.
The 2004 Lexii RX 330s were loaded onto a truck and taken away for further action.
The Customs and Excise Department of Phnom Penh calls for garages that install illegal right-hand modifications to stop immediately and appeal to the public before buying a car to check that it is safe to use.
