Bomb Scare in Kampong Cham

Kampong Cham: A strange discovery was made at a Sathapana ATM, west of the Night Market, Kampong Cham town on 26 April 2019.

Police were called after a suitcase was left in the ATM, after concerns it may be a bomb.

CMAC officials were called to the scene to investigate. After examining the case, it was found to contain fake ‘ghost’ $ US.

CCTV footage showed the case was taken there by a local man who suffers from mental illness, and often takes old things that he finds on the streets around the town and hides them in the ATM.
