Preah Sihanouk: Twenty rare species of 20 turtles will be released into the wild today.
The aquatic reptiles will be set free into the Sre Ambil river in Kampong Seila district, Preah Sihanouk province. The event has been organized by the Cambodian Wildlife Conservation Society, in collaboration with government authorities, local officials, local communities and partners.
People are asked to respect the animals and not hunt, catch or eat their eggs.
