Kidnapping Chinese Detained by Court
Phnom Penh: Three Chinese men who kidnapped five Chinese women were place in pre-trial detention by Phnom Penh Municipal Court, on April 26, 2019. Two other suspects are still at large.
The three Chinese men, Guo Yuwei, 31, Li Xiaoxiang, 27 and Li Hongjie, 32 were arrested on the morning of April 21 in Preah Sihanouk province. Two remaining Chinese women were rescued in the operation after three had been let go in Kampot.
Two other Chinese men managed to escape.
