Chinese Men Caught With Unexplained $3 Million Cash
Phnom Penh: Three Chinese suspects have been arrested with up to $ 3 million worth of USD without a clear source, according to a press release from the Ministry of Interior on April 26.
The arrests were made on April 23 at the Phnom Penh International Airport. Police found more than $ 3.5 million worth of money (*latest reports say US $ 3,520,000), with no clear source, coming on a flight from Hong Kong to Cambodia.
All three Chinese nationals have been sent to the court to for legal action against anti-money laundering and terrorism.
