Chinese Teenager Arrested Without Passport
Kampong Speu: On 23 April 2019, at 2.30 pm, immigration officers working with Kampong Speu provincial police arrested a foreigner Lou XI AOFEI, a 17-year-old Chinese male from Sichuan Province, China.
According to reports, the foreigner arrived in Cambodia in April 2019 through the international border checkpoint in Sihanoukville without a passport. *It’s not clear how he entered without a passport, which he says is missing, presumably he came by sea.
He was questioned and sent to the provincial police commission and then to The Department of Investigation and Implementation Procedures of the Department of Immigration.
