Chicken Truck Tips

Phnom Penh: The driver of a small truck suffered from drowsiness, drove into a divider and overturned his vehicle at about 4 o’clock in the morning on Monday, April 22, 2019 along Veng Sreng Street.

The speeding driver, who was hauling a cargo of live chickens was seriously injured in the crash, and was pulled from the wreckage by on lookers.

A female passenger was also injured, and both were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The escaped fowl were gathered up and sent off to the slaughterhouse and the truck was taken to the traffic police office for further action.
