Chinese Mother Finds Missing Son Missing a Passport

Phnom Penh: On April 19, 2019, at 12 pm, a Chinese woman FANG JIE, a 71-year-old who arrived in Cambodia in March, asked authorities to deport her son LIU ZHIQ IANG, a 44-year-old male from China, who was diagnosed with a rare condition called nephropathy.

Later, the police force found out she hadn’t seen her son for two years and after being told he was in Phnom Penh, she came to Cambodia and found him. Later she brought him to Siem Reap until the 14th when they arrived in Phnom Penh and went to the Chinese Embassy to ask to be returned, but the man had no passport.
