Sihanoukville: Two Chinese suspects were arrested at about 1 am on April 8 following a bag snatch attempt in front of the Sihrou Hotel, 1 Village 1, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.
According to the police report, the two Chinese nationals were on foot and snatched a bag from a victim who was walking down the street.
Both tried to escape but were instantly caught by police. The two suspects were named as YANG LIE, a 20 year old tourist and XIE JIAN, also 20.
Authorities are building a case according to the procedure to bring the perpetrators to the court to decide their fate.
