Lucky Moto Rider Bails Out Before Cement Truck Crash

Phnom Penh: A cement truck hit a vegetable trailer,totally destroying the motorcycle.

The owner of the trailer managed to jump off and avoid injury before the crash.

The truck driver drove off in a bid to escape, but was chased until he was stopped at Tuol Proang market. Chom Chao 1, Khan Por Senchey. The incident happened at 10 am on April 8, 2019, at the intersection of 4 Phoum Prey, Sangkat Prey Sar, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh.

The tuk tuk driver said that before the incident he had dricven to the market and was heading home on the concrete road in Prey Sar. The cement truck came at speed, without stopping at the crossroads, luckily the rider managed to leap off his moto, otherwise he would almost certainly have been killed.

After the cops came to the scene, representatives of the cement company came and paid $400 to repair the bike and settle the case.
