American Tourist Joseph Boland Dies in Siem Reap

Siem Reap: According to the National Police Commissioner, one foreigner died at a Siem Reap hotel in Wat Damnak Village, Sangkat Siem Reap, on April 1, 2019, at 1:20 pm.

The police official said that the dead man was JOSEPH PATRICK BOLAND 43, an American tourist, who was heavily tattooed.

After examining the corpse, the competent authorities, it is assumed that the victim died from liver failure/anemia cirrhosis caused by Hepatitis C.

The body was then taken to Russian Hospital in Phnom Penh to wait for family to accept.
