Power Cuts for Siem Reap, Battambang and Banteay Meanchey April 2

Siem Reap: The three provinces of Banteay Meanchey, Battambang and Siem Reap will have no electricity for the day on April 2, according to a notice issued by Electricite du Cambodge on April 1, 2019.

The full suspension of the supply will be from 5am to 6pm on April 2 due to work on Wattananakorn and Aranyaphathet sub-stations in Thailand, to increase the efficiency of the electricity supply to Cambodia’s network.

The affected areas, including the Siem Reap sub-station, need to be completely shut down, according to the officials. Sub-power stations of Poipet and Battambang will be completely disconnected.
