Man Dies in Hammock/Truck Accident
Phnom Penh: A man was killed after he tied a hammock between two trucks and went to sleep. One of the vehicles then drove off, dragging the sleeping man under the wheels and causing his death.
This incident occurred at 21:10 on March 25, 2019, along National Road 5, Village 1, Sangkat Chrang Champhou II, Khan Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.
The victim, a 40-year-old male was from Takeo province. A 30 year old, from Kampong Cham was driving the other vehicle, and escaped from the scene.
According to the source, before the incident, the victim was sleeping, while the driver drove off without checking around his truck. The hammock then pulled the victim under the left wheel and crushed him. The body was handed over to the family.
