Homeless Russian Detained

Phnom Penh: On March 20, 2019, at 11:30 am, the Office of Investigation and Implementation of the Immigration Department received a foreign Russian male named AHATOINN WOIEHOB (*Antonin something??)

The 58-year-old was taken in by police force in Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh, for being homeless and having no passport.

When questioned, it was established that he came to Cambodia in 2017 through Bavet as a tourist. He has no job, no money and has been sleeping on the streets.

He was sent to the General Department of Immigration to carry out the proceedings of the law.
