Chinese Man With Missing Passport Detained

Phnom Penh: The Police force and Bureau of Investigation and Implementation of Immigration Procedure of Phnom Penh Police Commission detained a Chinese man on March 18, 2019 at 12:30 PM from Police Force Boeng Raing Administration, Khan Daun Penh.

WU YUANMIN, a 22-year-old male from China, first arrived in Cambodia on September 20, 2018 at Phnom Penh International Airport as a tourist.

During his stay in Cambodia, he was working in Sihanoukville province, but on March 16, 2019, traveled to Phnom Penh and went to the Naga Hotel

He tried to book into a guesthouse, but had lost his passport, so on 18 March 2019, the police investigated.

As his story didn’t add up, he was detained, sent to the General Department of Immigration to carry out the proceedings of the law.
