Prey Veng: On the night of March 15, 2019, the district commander of Tbet district (Tbong Khmum province) was arrested after shooting a man.
The incident occurred in Thmor Kerat village, Kanhchiev commune, Kiengreach district, Prey Veng province. Currently, the suspect is being detained at Prey Veng Provincial Armed Forces’s Command.
The victim, 43-year-old Meth Heang, was shot in the arm.
The commander was reported as being drunk when he shot the victim with a K59 pistol.
