Chinese Worker Crushed by Container

Sihanoukville: Police in Preah Sihanouk province said that on March 14, 2019, at 17:50, there was a work accident which killed a Chinese man.

The victim was working under a transport container, when a cable somehow broke or the winch malfunctioned, dropping the heavy box onto him.

It took nearly two hours to remove the container, and the man was already dead.

The business involved is reported as Wondua, in Group 16, Village 1, Sangkat 1, Krong Preah Sihanouk (near the Otres pagoda).
