Meth Head Torches Father’s Moto

Kandal: A suspect was arrested after destroying items in the family home on March 12, 2019, in Kampong Svay Village, Prek Thmey commune, Koh Thom district, Kandal.

According to authorities, the suspect was Vuthy Makara, 20-year-old male.

According to the parents, their son often broke things in the house such as dishes, a radio and television, and was generally out of control.

On March 12, 2019, at 11:30 am, suspect Vuthy Makara argued with his family and ruined five sacks of pig feed.

At 2:30 pm, the suspect returned, took one of his parents’ motorbikes and set it on fire.

Decided enough was enough his parents called the local police to arrest the wayward son.

After police obtained a complaint from the mother, an officer of Koh Thom district arrested the young suspect.
