Man’s Hand Hacked Off After Drunken Fight

Phnom Penh: Police said a man was seriously injured in Daun Penh district on March 12. 2019 at 23:00, after drinking turned to insults and then shocking violence

The victim was identified as Jas Kuntheak, a 36-year-old male living in Toul Sangke commune, Russey Keo district, Phnom Penh.

The suspect, identified as Meas Sophea, a 35-year-old, lives in Khan Daun Penh, Phnom Penh, according to official of the Daun Penh Police Inspectorate.

The two men were drunk and arguing when a large samurai sword was used by the suspect to attack the victim. The victim had his entire right hand severed from his arm.

The victim is being treated in Calmette and Daun Penh Police are hunting the swordsman for legal action.
