Phnom Penh: On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, Camcontrol Officers in Phnom Penh jointly cooperated with Anti-Economic Police and the
Ministry of Interior to investigate seafood for unregulated chemicals.
Prohibited chemicals tested for were not found, but checks found a
thick jelly-like substance in shrimp heads, so they were sent off for more analysis.
After investigating, the deputy prosecutor decided to destroy the 7,520 kilograms of seafood, which were sent to be burned at the landfill.
