Brick Factory Girl Recovering in Kantha Bopha

PHNOM PENH, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) – The 9 year old who lost her arm in a machine at a brick factory is currently being treated at Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital.

A special team have visited the hospital to examine her case.

6,930,000 Riels (around $1750) has been donated to the family to help the medical expenses.

On March 9, 2019, a 9-year-old girl was caught in a machine and had her arm torn off. The incident happened at 9:30 am at Preah Sdech Brick Factory in Preah Ponloung Commune, Ksach Kandal District, Kandal Province.
