CPU Issue Warning

James McCabe of the Child Protection Unit has sent CNE the following message to share.

On the 5th of March at about 730am in the morning an 8 year old girl was dropped off to her school in Toul Kork. When walking into the school, a male about 18 years old called to her to come talk to him.

He told her that her mother had been seriously injured and was in hospital and he was sent to take her to her mother. He then took her (we think to Boeung Tom Pun) where he took her to a room, drugged her and raped her. He then took her to another location in Boeung Tom Pun and dropped her off before leaving. She was found about 1 hour later in a distressed state.

There is information that a person of similar description has attempted this at least once before. It is recommended that this information be disseminated and children (and parents) made aware of this scenario so that children do not go anywhere with strangers and report any suspicious similar incidents to their teachers. Educational facilities are requested to check their CCTV cameras are covering appropriate areas and that security and teachers are made aware of this incident.

មកបុរសម្នាក់នោះបាននាំកុមារីតូចទៅបន្ទប់មួយនៅទីតាំងដែលកុមារីមិនស្គាល់ ដាក់ថ្នាំនិង រំលោភសេពសន្ថវៈលើកកុមារីរងគ្រោះ បន្ទាប់មកក៏នាំកុមារីនោះមកទំលាក់ចោលនៅម្តុំបឹង
ទំពុន១ម៉ោងក្រោយទើបកុមារីរងគ្រោះត្រូវបានអាជ្ញាធរមូលដ្ឋានប្រទះឃើញ។
