Tuk Tuk Drivers Must Take Free Safety Course

Phnom Penh: In accordance with the Road Traffic Law, Capital Hall has assigned the Department of Public Works and Transport to open a Road Traffic Training Law on Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm lasting 2 months.

The course will run from Saturday, March 2 to May 4, 2019 at the driving testing center on road 598 in Chrang 2 Russey Keo, Phnom Penh.

A notice released states that The Capital Hall is honored to inform drivers, of Phnom Penh’s passenger transportation businesses who are on the road without a valid driving license.

The training aims to reduce traffic accidents and ensure the safety of passengers. After completing the training course, drivers can apply for a theoretical exam and a driver’s test to get a driving license.

After the two month period is over, there will be penalties for drivers who do not comply with the law. http://www.phnompenhreporter.com/article/62891
