“School Ghost” Causes 10 to Faint

Oddar Meanchey: Ten secondary school students in grades 7,8 and 9 fainted at 8.15 am on February 28th 2019 in Hun Sen Tuol Ta Sek school, Trapeang Prasat.

The students all said that they had seen a ghost, causing them to collapse in fear.

However, a medical examination of the students, who were all girls aged between 13 and 16, confirmed they were suffering from exhaustion, most likely through lack of sleep, and low blood pressure.

The girls were given treatment in a local clinic and sent home to rest.
