Phnom Penh: A heavy goods truck crashed into buildings, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage, but no injuries.

The incident happened at 12:00 midnight on Feb. 27, 2019, along Route 217, Traffic Branch of Thnal Bond Market, Sangkat Dangkor, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh.

The source said that before the incident a truck “Takeo 3A-1959”, a white FUSO, seemed to have problems with the brakes as it crashed into property.

Equipment and phones worth more than $ 30,000 were damaged. Immediately afterwards, the driver opened the cab and ran off into the night.

After the incident, the local authorities came down and contacted traffic cops to take the truck to Phnom Penh Road Traffic Police, waiting to handle the legal issues later.
