Australian-Irish Damon Simms Sets Fire to Siem Reap Guesthouse

Siem Reap: At about 8 pm on February 22nd, 2019, a foreigner was detained by police at Gabbi Guest House in Ta Phul Village, Svay Dangkum Commune, Siem Reap Province.

The suspect was named as DAMON WALTER NELSON SIMMS , a 39-year-old Australian-Irish, apparently the owner of the business.

The Australian is reported to have set fire to equipment in the guesthouse, but it was put out quickly. However there was substantial damage to the property.

The suspect is now detained at the Siem Reap provincial police headquarters to proceed with the law. https://postnews.com.kh/local/416121\
