Women Injured Escaping University Fire

Phnom Penh: Four women are in hospital after being trapped on the 4th floor of a building after a fire broke out at Khemerak Unversity.

Some of the women were reportedly injured after falling from the building, after they climbed out of windows. They were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The University on Road No. 1986, Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok reported the fire at 1:00 am, February 22, 2019 was attended by firefighters, who managed to control the blaze.

It apparently started in the parking area of the building. The cause and extent of the damage is not yet known.
