A goal in the 16th minute was followed by a saved penalty 19 minutes later.
The clincher came in the 51st, giving Felix Dalmas’side the second victory in the tournament.
Thailand and Vietnam have both gone through to the last 4 from Group A, with Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar all having a chance from Group B.
