Man Arrested After Sword Attack

Prey Veng: A man has been charged after a sword attack caused a serious injury on February 18, 2019 at Chambok Chrum village, Chalei district, Prey Veng district.

The suspect is a 40-year-old named Sopha, who lives in a village.

Police said that the man took a samurai sword against the victim, a 46-year-old male resident of the commune, who was badly cut on the right shoulder and throat. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries.

The violence broke out after conflicting words were exchanged while drinking. The victim was sent to a hospital in Prey Veng provincial hospital, while police arrested detained the suspect.
