Electrical Hazards in Siem Reap
Siem Reap: Open electrical boxes have been spotted next to the Siem Reap river.
These boxes, with live wiring and fuses inside have been tied to trees at low height and left uncovered along the walkway.
Although no injuries have occurred yet, it can only be a matter of time, and have the potential to be deadly, especially in the rainy season.
There are also concerns for tourists, who are at risk, as well as the unsightly image the wires give for the city.
